US Hemp Production Plans By State, Territory, And Tribe

This page contains the current status of Industrial Hemp Production Plans for each state, territory, and tribe of the United States as mandated by the 2018 Farm Bill.

Once submitted, the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) has 60 days to approve or deny the plan. If a plan was submitted to the USDA prior to the effective date of the Interim Final Rule (October 31, 2019), the 60-day requirement is not applicable.

Once a plan is approved by the USDA, it remains in effect unless suspended or revoked by USDA pursuant to the procedures described in the Interim Final Rule, or unless the submitting party revises their plan.
